The "13" Telephone Number – Electrodry was one of the first major organisations to put into operation a 13 telephone number (our national number is 13 27 13). The 13-telephone number is a national number that can have multiple answering locations. This means that someone calling from Brisbane will get his local franchisee while someone dialling the same number in Dubbo will get his local Dubbo franchisee. The biggest advantage of this system is that the same number is used on all advertising (a big cost saver). A six digit number is very easy for clients to remember compared to a normal phone number. In addition you can be certain only the franchisee in the area will receive the telephone call. Referrals – as Electrodry is a national company, when an Electrodry customer moves to a different town they do not need to look for a new carpet cleaner but will be able to use the local Electrodry franchisee. This quickly adds to your client base.
If you are looking at buying a franchise from the Electrodry head office, the franchise that would be available would be in those areas where Electrodry has sent in company staff and vehicles to develop the business and develop a presence in the market place. Once a solid base business has been developed, Electrodry will look to appoint a franchisee to the area.
